Statement of Faith
- God
We believe there is one true and living God, who exists in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are equal in power, glory, and eternity, yet one in essence. God is holy, just, wise, sovereign, and full of love.
- Scripture
We believe the Holy Bible (Old and New Testament) is the inspired, inerrant, and sufficient Word of God. It is the final authority for faith and life.
- Creation & Fall
God created all things very good. Man was created in God’s image, but by Adam’s sin, all humanity fell into sin, guilt, and death. We are by nature sinful and cannot save ourselves.
- Jesus Christ
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, who became truly man while remaining truly God. He was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on the cross as a substitute for sinners, rose bodily from the dead, and ascended into heaven. He is the only mediator between God and man.
- The Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment.
He regenerates dead sinners, giving them new hearts and faith in Christ.
He sanctifies believers, dwelling in them, comforting, guiding, and empowering them for godly living and service.
He unites all believers into one body—the Church.
- Salvation
Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
God elects sinners to eternal life according to His sovereign will.
Christ’s death on the cross fully secured redemption for His people.
The Holy Spirit applies this salvation to us through the new birth, bringing repentance and faith.
True believers will persevere in faith and holiness until the end.
- The Church
We believe in the local church, made up of baptized believers who covenant together to worship God, proclaim the gospel, make disciples, observe the ordinances (baptism and the Lord’s Supper), and walk in loving fellowship under Christ’s headship.
- Last Things
We believe in the bodily return of Christ to judge the living and the dead. The righteous will enjoy eternal life with God in the new heavens and new earth, and the wicked will face eternal punishment in hell.
